The IPv6 tests platform:
Since March 31st 2005, any company (industrials, small and medium companies, very small companies) and/or public organization can append the "IPv6 Ready" label on their product(s) or service(s) through the Point6 IPv6 interoperability and accordance tests platform.

Why testing your IPv6 implementations ?
Thanks to the Point6 IPv6 tests platform, you can credit your IPv6 implementations with the "IPv6 Ready" label, this label being dispensed under the "IPv6 Ready Logo Program" control.
Since February 17th 2005, the "Gold" label allows to dispense complete tests (accordance and interoperability) with a high level of requirements, as well as a rigorous certification process which is harmonized worldwide. The tests characteristics are the following: integration of all functionalities (RFC's "should"), and a larger tests cover (today: core protocols; then: IPsec, MIPv6, MLD, SNMP, transition mechanisms).

The Point6 skills and references ?
The Point6 IPv6 tests platform skills lean on IRISA (Armor Project) ones: methods, algorithms and tools for interoperability tests for data processing networks protocols; this project has been focusing on IPv6 since 1999.
Today, 4 engineers are part of the Point6 IPv6 platform team, under Cesar VIHO's responsability.
What is the IPv6 Ready Logo Program ?
Point6 gives you the opportunity to access the unique laboratory officially recognized by the "IPv6 Ready Logo Program" in Europe.
This accreditation has been possible thanks to Cesar VIHO's participation into the international IPv6 certification committee, as long as he is the European representative for it in Europe. This platform has also taken advantage of IRISA's previous works and experience into IPv6 interoperability events in Europe and Asia, as well as into ETSI IPv6 tests works.
