Since January 2005, Point6 has been offering two types of services to any interested company (industrials, small and medium companies, very small companies) as well as to any public organizations:

IPv6 Skills and Expertise:

This IPv6 expertise department offers its activities of information, sensitization and expertise in IPv6 technologies, as well as its participation in studies, co-developments of IPv6 demonstrators and developments of "middleware" softwares.

Laurent TOUTAIN, associate professor, is in charge of this first department. The team also includes five other experts: Francis DUPONT, Octavio MEDINA, Etienne GALLET DE SANTERRE, Bruno STEVANT (as well as Eve BOURDEAU as intern).

IPv6 tests platform:

This second department offers its services for IPv6 accordance and interworking tests. This IPv6 tests plateform allows your IPv6 implementations in your product(s) to be certified and to get the "IPv6 Ready" label. Please note that this plateform is the only laboratory recognized by the "IPV6 Ready Logo Program" in Europe.

César VIHO, associate professor of Rennes 1 University and member of the "IPv6 Ready Logo Program" leading commitee, is responsible for this department. Annie FLOCH, Frédéric ROUDAUT, Anthony BAIRE and Bruno DENIAUD are also part of the team.
The Point6 activities are consequently very complementary. Point6 offers its expertise and knowledge on IPv6 technologies upstream (research, training, transfert about IPv6 technologies) as well as downstream (IPv6 tests and certification).
